I recently got back from visiting my boyfriend's hometown of Montalbano in the gorgeous Basilicata region in the south of Italy. The historical center has an almost Greek aesthetic from the white architecture to the ruined buildings. I will be returning very soon for their saint day at the end of September!

Sono appena tornata da un viaggio a Montalbano, il paese del mio ragazzo, in Basilicata, una bellissima regione del Sud Italia. Il centro storico ricorda la Grecia dalle bianche architetture agli edifici in rovina. Tornero' molto presto per la celebrazione di San Maurizio (il santo patrono) alla fine di Settembre!
